The Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market is planning a food destination located on the Mezzanine level called ‘The Galley’ for prepared food vendors who sell at the Market on Saturday and Sunday only.  These changes are expected to take place in September 2015. We have received feedback about these planned changes for weekend-only prepared food vendors and are working to make adjustments. There are two options available to those vendors affected by the changes.


1)   Move forward with the planned move to the Mezzanine level. This area will provide better access to utilities and an opportunity to work with other prepared food vendors to create a destination within the Market, providing the opportunity to attract new customers.

2)   Work together to determine a new location on the first floor.

The Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market remains committed to working with all vendors throughout this process as we create a farmers’ market that is vibrant and sustainable for years to come.
