Buskers

We believe that the presence of buskers enriches the experience of shoppers at the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market and we have a long tradition of welcoming musicians into the market.

In order to ensure the best experience for all concerned we require that you abide by the following:-

• Maximum two performers busking;
• All acoustic i.e. no electrical amps;
• Quality control by the market manager;
• Maximum of a 2 hour time slot: 8-10am; 10am-12pm; 12pm-2pm; 2-4pm;
• Please remain in the space allocated to you.

We neither charge nor pay buskers to be at the market.

Please email events@halifaxfarmersmarket.com with your expression of interest.

Please note that any buskers who set up at the market without prior approval of the manager will be asked to leave.
