This is National Dance Week! Join us on Sunday and learn something new! Lots of different dance performances to see.

Our regular Salsa will be happening as well…
1 PM upstairs at the Seaport Farmers Market Amanda Huska will be teaching a beginner Latin Dance lesson. She will cover some basics of partner dancing while learning Merengue, Bachata and SALSA! Cost is only $5.
2 -4 PM is Social dance where you can practice your new skills with other dancers of all levels.

11-1 pm Register for the Bunny Hunt at the South door. Solve the clues and find the bunnies!

Make a wooden selfbow** right here at Seaport Market!

**Selfbow:  A bow made completely from a single piece of wood

Rodney Spencer of Free Spirit Farm will teach a bow building course at Seaport Market on Sundays during February.  Participants will begin with a piece of  FSC certified Nova Scotia white ash and create their own selfbow by carving and shaping the wood into a bow custom made for their draw length. The class will meet on Sundays from 11 to 3 in the cruise corridor beginning on Feb 19th.  Class fee of $150.00 includes all materials, use of workbenches and tools, written instructions and personal hands-on instruction, and an Introduction to Archery manual. Class size is limited to five students, and participants can expect to complete their bow in three weeks or less.  A waiting list will be maintained for people who want to join the class as space becomes available.

A lifelong traditional archer and experienced bowyer, Rodney led bow building courses for a number of years at the annual primitive archery shoot held by New Annan Archers.  Rodney is also a Canadian Certified Level 1 Archery Coach and a Certified International Bowhunting Instructor.
